Police are investigating a fight between a number of men at a bus stop in the Turnham Green area on Chiswick High Road in the early hours of this morning (13 April).

Two men were taken to hospital but their injuries were not reported to be serious. A number of others had fled the scene by the time the police arrived at around 4.40 a.m.

The scene was taped off as there was a large amount of broken glass around the bus shelter where it is understood about four or five men had congregated before a fight broke out.

The incident is not believed to be gang related.

A number of broken bottles also lay strewn on the ground.

There have not been any arrests made. Police are studying CCTV footage of the area as part of their investigation.

A police spokesman said, "at about 4.40am this morning there was an altercation at the bus stop near Turnham Green Church between a number of men. During this two people were assaulted, though their injuries are not serious.

"We are still investigating this incident and if there are any witnesses, they can contact either crimestoppers or 101 if they have any information."
