A man has been charged with a series of offences including five incidents which occurred on 17 January in the Hammersmith area.

33-year-old Philip Ogun from Kensington was detained on Tuesday morning (17 January) at around 7.50am in the Ravenscourt Park area

Police had been called to a number of locations in Hammersmith following reports that five women had been approached by a male with a knife in the area.

The charges include sexual assault and robbery, and as well as those relating to the incidents in Hammersmith, there are two further charges relating to similar offences which occurred at earlier dates in Kensington.

Mr Ogun is due to appear at Hammersmith Magistrates' Court on Thursday, 19 January.
