A man has been taken to hospital with a head wound following a knifepoint robbery at the Clean Box dry cleaners in Devonshire Road, Chiswick Wednesday evening (25 April).

At around 6pm two men entered the premises armed with knives and attempted to rob the man of his watch. During the attempt the 23-year-old victim sustained a head injury. It is not clear at this stage whether the man injured was a member of staff, or a customer in the shop. The victim was taken to hospital in an ambulance but his injuries were described by police as not life threatening.

A third suspect was waiting outside the store in a vehicle. When the suspects fled the scene the vehicle left in the direction of Hogarth roundabout.
