“Healthy home cooking encourages healthy eating for the whole family,” says Alli. “Research has shown that 72 percent of Britons cook at home every day and when in the kitchen, 50 percent of Britons spend more than 30 minutes cooking.”

Known for her numerous appearances on TV and radio, Chiswick mother of three Alli is a nutritional therapist who loves her food. She has spent the past year writing her first cookbook - Feed Your Health - which is a collection of her favourite recipes, tried and tested at her popular cookery workshops.

“Autumn has arrived. The kids are back at school. The nights are drawing in. My recipes are designed to create wholesome meals for the whole family, with the minimum of fuss and the maximum of nutrients. Delicious winter warmers!” says Alli who believes healthy eating should be delicious. Combining exciting flavours with essential nutrients, and not about denial.

Alli graduated from Exeter University with a degree in Psychology and has worked in fashion PR. Travelling the world as a model gave her an opportunity to sample many local cuisines.

Now a qualified nutritional therapist, Alli currently provides services as a nutritional therapist for in-spa retreats and New You Boot Camps as well as managing her own practise – offering private consultations and cookery workshops from her home in London.

Actress, Helen Lederer gave her seal of approval for the book saying: “What a wonderful book, I wish I’d had this to hand when I went on Masterchef. The recipes are so simple and yet wonderfully delicious."
