Chiswick’s Jane Brockbank of Terrain Garden Design and Marcia Hurst of Pot Pourri Flowers were awarded a Silver Flora medal for their entry in the Courtyard Garden category this week at the Chelsea Flower Show.

The garden encapsulates the spirit of a cool, secret courtyard garden glimpsed while wandering through the medieval town of Cordes, southern France. A crumbling façade of a French house provides the backdrop. Tapestries of clipped mounds of aromatic shrubs contrast with untidy perennials.

They would like to thank all their generous sponsors, particularly Fullers Brewery, without whom the project would not have been possible.
