Friends of Chiswick Common is a new action group which has recently been formed with the purpose of protecting the common interests of the park.

Part of its remit is to seek funding for maintenance and enhancement, and to provide a point of communication with Hounslow Council on matters concerning the Common.

To kick off we shall be having a LITTER PICKING session on Saturday April 26th. Starting at 12.00 midday and meeting at the corner next to the bus stop on Turnham Green Terrace.

All materials will be provided, including protective gloves and those handy picking-up sticks, and anyone who would like to join in to give the Common a thorough going-over is welcome.
