On Halloween (Sunday 31st October), Dukes Meadows Trust, Chiswick, will be holding their annual Harvest Festival and Apple Day.

Don your best fancy dress and take your family along to this free celebration of the local harvest. Test your skills pumpkin carving (£1 a pumpkin), take part in the costume competition, and enjoy apples galore.

An apple decorating competition should occupy youngsters, while children and adults alike can bob for apples, gorge on toffee apples and sample a wide range of local apple varieties.

The event is held alongside the weekly Chiswick Farmer’s Market, so there will be plenty of local produce to sample and take home.

Activities start at 10am and run until the market closes at 2pm. Please see http://www.dukesmeadowstrust.org/ for more information.
