Hounslow Council is undertaking a major face lift of Turnham Green after recognising its key importance to the local economy.

Friends Of Turnham Green will be holding a meeting on Wednesday 24th November from 7.30 – 8.30pm at Christ Church, Turnham Green for anyone who would like to input their ideas into the major five year master plan of improvements for the Green.

The overhaul will include new paths, a wild flower scheme and renovation / removal of rockery and nearby seating area, replacement of missing border trees, improved benches and bins, renovation / removal of formal flowerbeds and renovation of perimeter fencing.

Andrew Smith, Manager of Grounds Maintenance for Hounslow Council and Paul Upward, a landscape architect from Groundworks www.groundwork-tv.org.uk and contracted by Hounslow Council to draw up the master plan, will both attend the meeting.
