London Borough of Hounslow (LBH) has been working closely with the Friends of Turnham Green to develop a number of project ideas to improve the Green.

A public consultation evening held at Christ Church on the Green set out a number of costed project ideas. Those attending were asked to identify and prioritise those project ideas that were most important to them.

In May 2011, LBH will present a report including preferred improvement ideas to the Chiswick Area Monitoring Committee hoping to secure Section 106 that will pay for the improvements to be implemented in 2011 and 2012.

However before the report is presented, LBH and the Friends are keen to understand the needs and
wants of the broader community.

The wider consultation offers you the opportunity to:

  • Support an idea outlined as a priority
  • Rank other project ideas in order of importance to you
  • Offer additional improvement ideas that are not listed within those identified at previous consultations

If you missed the exhibition and would like to talk through your ideas and concerns, please call Paul Upward, Landscape Architect on 01895 839856 weekdays between 9am and 5.30pm.

Please note that you will have another opportunity to view the proposals again in late April/
early May. Date to be confirmed.
