Grove Park Playgroup - a parent-led, not-for-profit Playgroup - have already manged to locate their founders by posting on ChiswickW4.com's forum and are now hoping to trace former children and staff who have passed through the Playgroup's doors.

The Playgroup, which opened in 1970 in the home of one of two local mothers now grandmothers, will be holding a celebratory anniversary party on 25th September.

The Playgroup operates from Monday to Friday term time only between the hours of 09:15 to 12:15 and takes children from the age of 2½.

Five of the staff are qualified to NVQ2 level or above.

Grove Park Playgroup also runs a Bumps and Baby Group in conjunction with the local branch of the National Childbirth Trust on Tuesday mornings and a Toddler Group on Tuesday afternoons.
