The back streets of Chiswick were once again the location for a TV commercial.

Making use of the sunny weather, presenter Johnny Vaughan could be seen riding around Alwyn and Wavendon avenues on a 1950s Vespa scooter.

The shots are for the latest commercial for Johnny's Capital Radio breakfast show and it will be on our screens in the near future.

Local residents were curious as a specially constructed trailer with the scooter was pulled by a camera truck around the local streets with loud backing music ''Dancing in the street" blasting away.

A body double was used to do the reverse shots as Johnny also plays other parts in the commercial - he was made up in full drag to play a lady on a bicycle and filmed in the same Chiswick streets .

Although on a tight schedule Johnny did have time to pose for a couple of shots for the ChiswickW4.com site. What a nice fellow !

Funny though how we need TV to advertise radio !
