A café close to Turnham Green tube station has made an application for a licence to serve alcohol.

In The Park House, at 6 Bedford Corner the former premises of Trinity Café, wants permission to sell drink on and off the premises.

The application is being made by Brackenbury Brews Limited, a Hammersmith-based hospitality management company with is already in partnership with two venues in the Euston area The Square Tavern and Faim – a hybrid bar, café and co-working space.

The director and owner of the company is Petar Ivanisevic who says on his LinkedIn profile that he has 18 years’ management experience including two years with the Metropolitan Pub Company. He also built up a coffee brand. Pitch.coffee along with his wife starting with a street cart to five brick and motor sites in under four years. The business closed during lockdown.

He says that he has created a ‘Work from Pub’ concept in which he has turned a disused function room into a speakeasy/Co-working hub.

Currently, the 41 sq meter café has seating for 38 people inside over two floors with an additional four on the pavement outside. It offers hot food to eat in and take away.

It is located in the Bedford Park Conservation Area with the nearest residential accommodation 64 metres away in Bath Road according to the application.

The application also outlines the responsibility of the licensee for the behaviour of food delivery drivers collecting orders from the premises. They must not congregate on Bedford Corner but must park up on Flanders Road.

The opening hours applied for are for 6:30am to 11:30pm Monday to Thursday, 6:30am to 12:30am Friday and Saturday with 11pm closing on Sunday. Last orders would be half an hour before closing time.

Any comments on the application must be sent to licensing@hounslow.gov.uk before 12 December.
