Two Parcel Force employees had a miracle escape this week on Chiswick Mall when they received an unexpected delivery to the cab of their lorry.

Hugh winds on Thursday 12th May brought down a huge section of a very large chestnut tree onto the Parcel Force lorry crushing it in the process.

The tree fell from the vicarage garden onto the cab of the lorry but luckily the driver and his colleague were not seriously hurt. Amazingly one of them escaped entirely unscathed and the other walked away with a graze on his arm.
