The MicroLoan Foundation (MLF) charity is looking for a suitably qualified financial manager with wide range general management skills to volunteer to undertake a three month project at its base in central Malawi.

The person appointed will act as mentor and change manager to the present team of seven Malawian staff, helping them maximise the effectiveness of new software and accounting systems, broaden their skills base in general managerial disciplines, identify potential strengths and weaknesses of the current operation and oversee the rapid expansion of the charity's activities planned for 2005.

This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for a highly motivated commercial individual to make a significant contribution to the development of an innovative and resourceful development charity in a very poor but peaceful, hospitable and fascinating country. The post is not remunerated but travel and living expenses can be reimbursed.

For more information and a full job description please contact Peter Ryan on 020 89954 0951.or e-mail contact@microloanfoundation.org.uk For more information about the charity, please visit the website www.microloanfoundation.org.uk
