Man's Body Found In Dover On Shoreline

It follows a police appeal for a missing Chiswick man

The body of a man has been recovered from the shoreline below Langdon Cliffs in Dover.

Kent Police were called after a man's body was recovered by the RNLI.

A police spokesperson said; "The body has not been formally identified but the family members of a man reported missing from Chiswick in London on Sunday night have been informed."

Officers attended after the body was recovered by the RNLI. The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for HM Coroner.

Kent Police had earlier issued an appeal for information on the whereabouts of a 26-year-old man from Chiswick who was reported missing on Sunday evening (27 April 2014).
