The body of former Chiswick resident Oscar Kolkowski (32) who was reported missing from Bristol has been recovered in the river Avon.

He was reported missing from his home in Bristol in mid- January. Oscar, who was brought up in Southfield, Chiswick, was described as "vulnerable" by police when he went missing.

His family had issued an appeal after he went missing on 5 March, as they thought he might have been trying to get back to London. Oscar, a community worker, had left home telling his wife he was going to visit a friend.

His mother Ana in Chiswick, said that following the appeal many local people had been in contact with her.

Oscar's body was found in the water in the river Avon on 15 March.
