Concerned residents in Chiswick have contacted their local MP, Ann Keen to gain support against plans to install mobile phone masts above Chiswick Police Station.

Ann Keen MP said: "I have met with constituents who live nearby to the station and I am now asking for a top level meeting with the Leader of Hounslow council, the Chief Executive and the Director of the Planning department. I know it is a difficult problem but I am very concerned at the apparent lack of consultation. I am asking people to clear their diaries to meet with myself and constituents on this important issue. "

There are also concerns about plans by T-Mobile to put a mast on top of the telephone exchange in Barley Mow Passage (between the Catholic Church and the library).

The mast is being installed by Crown Castle Ltd. They claim that it will be well within guidelines set down to control emissions but asked any concerned residents to contact their community relations team on 0845 601 4815 or community.relations@crowncastle.com.
