New charges for parking in the Chiswick House and Gardens car-park off the A4 will be introduced on Monday, Dec 3rd.

The charges, which will operate from 8am-6pm seven days a week, allow for a 50p charge for 30 minutes, and £1 for a two-hour visit.The charges would then increase on a two-hourly rate to £4 for four hours, and £6 for six hours, to all-day tickets £15.

A statement from CHGT said; “Charges will commence on Monday December 3rd. The charges will operate everyday between 8am – 6pm including public and bank holidays and overnight parking is not permitted. Disabled parking will be free and marked bays are provided.  

The parking pay and display fees are from 50p for 30 mins (minimum charge) then two hourly rates up to £15 for all day parking. The area is managed by the London Borough of Hounslow. Revenue from the parking charges will contribute towards the upkeep of the car park and the care and preservation of the gardens.”
