Local resident Pauline Hart was honoured by the Mayor of Hounslow for her work in organising The Chiswick Buzz Club.

Pauline has run the club which brings together each month many of the local Senior Citizens for such activities as Quiz's, Craft, outings to local venue's and local Pub's for lunch, for the past 18 years.

She was presented with a silver salver (New Year's Day Parade Award) by the Mayor for the work she has done over the past 21 years, including organising a yearly Christmas Day Party for Chiswick Pensioners who are alone on Christmas Day.

Pauline started this Charity when she worked in the Home Help Service as she noticed many Pensioners who were on their own died soon after Christmas.

The Charity also raises funds so they can also hold a Summer Party to enable our Senior Citizens who need transport to go out and enjoy being in the community and meeting new people.
