The car showroom on Chiswick Roundabout has been reopened by Robins & Day West London retail site in Chiswick, following a £14.5-million-pound renovation project.

The company which is owned by multi-national car manufacturer Groupe PSA says that the facility will have the highest number of new electric and plug-in car and van models for UK buyers under a single roof as well as petrol and diesel cars from Peugeot, Citroen and DS.

The site also features dedicated charging points for electric vehicles.

The retail site underwent 24 months of renovations and now features what they describe as the latest Groupe PSA showroom technology and design, including dedicated showrooms for each of the three brands as well a 12 bay workshop and two MOT bays, supported by an off-site parts hub, and a commercial centre. The site aims to achieve 11,300 vehicle sales in the first year of operation.

Cars on display at the site include the all-new Peugeot e-208, and DS 3 Crossbank E-Tense, which are available for test drives. Soon to be available for test drives are Groupe PSA’s growing range of electric vans including the new Citroën e-Dispatch and Peugeot e-Expert.

Alison Jones, Group PSA UK Managing Director, said: “This site is a clear indication of our commitment to customer service and choice as we continue to grow our UK sales, especially our growing line-up of electric vehicles. With all three brands now under a single roof in a new ‘super site’ the Robins & Day West London showroom has the highest concentration of electric and plug-in models for UK buyers to choose from, alongside our Petrol and Diesel cars.

“The team offer comprehensive services to our customers throughout their car ownership, not just at point of purchase. We’re very excited by the launch and wish the Robins & Day team success in the years to come.”

James Weston, Chief Executive at Robins & Day, said: “It was fantastic to open the doors to our West London site and to have three of its brands under a single roof. We already have tri-brand showrooms across the UK and are very excited to open the doors to our West London store.”

Buyers can also view the latest Groupe PSA vehicles through its new Virtual Showroom technology that allows customers to book live virtual tours with sales executives from home.
