Residents who live at the rear of Gable House, an office block in Turnham Green Terrace, are concerned about plans to extend the building.

They say it is already the highest building in the street and are worried that Airivo who own the building, is trying to extend upwards which would lead to some houses in residential streets, Mayfield Avenue and Elliott Road, at the rear being overlooked.

Airivo, owners of 18-28, has issued letters to local residents saying they plan to improve and extend the existing office building and provide high quality employment accommodation. The four floors of office space are on top of retail space currently occupied by Patisserie Valerie, and the new Starbucks cafe.

Airivo say this work will improve the amenities, enhance the character, and preserve the conservation area.
