Although builders have moved into the former Est Est Est building it is to ensure that the resident squatters move out according to Q Developments who now own the building.

A spokesperson for the company told ChiswickW4.com that the current works were to get rid of the squatters who had taken up residence in the former pizza restaurant and ensure that the building is secure.

A number of outhouses also need to be demolished to rid the site of a ‘vermin infestation’.

Q Developments are currently waiting for ther second set of submitted plans to be approved by Hounslow Council after their initial application was refused.

The company’s spokesperson said that they had taken on board comments they had received from public consultations and had moderated their plans accordingly.

The current application is for nine residential units with eight parking spaces on site. Plans and images can be seen here. The planning application can be found here
