Chiswick resident and photographer Greg Pugsley reached the final stages of the international photographic competition The Spider Awards.

Organised by World Photographic Arts and judged by the 'Most Respected Names in Photography' the Awards honour black and white work of photographers from across the globe.

Pugley's image Nanny State? No Thanks (right) was nominated in the People Category - Amatuer and was up against huge competition from some of the 62 countries represented in the competition.

Having travelled the world and visited more than 50 countries, Greg Pugsley is rarely without his camera. The style of his photography is, in his own words, 'Street Life'.
