Hammersmith and Fulham Council is consulting local people on the possible introduction of a Farmers Market in Ravenscourt Park.

Farmers Markets are becoming a common feature in many public squares, streets, parks and open spaces in London.

The Chiswick Food Market is already held each Sunday at Dukes Meadows. The proceeds from the market are used by the Dukes Meadows Trust to help maintain the area.

There are also two Farmers Markets in Bishop's Park and Parson's Green in Fulham and well as the busy market every Thursday in Lyric Square and the council is now considering hosting a market in Ravenscourt Park.

The council says it would like to hear residents' views to inform its decision, and it also wants to know how a farmers market would impact on businesses in Hammersmith.

You have until February 28 to respond and you can find the consultation here.
