Sainsburys now managing the recycling site in their carpark

Sainsbury’s took over the management of the recycling site at their store on the 29th October 2007.

The London Borough of Hounslow is no longer responsible for managing the collection of recycling from any of the bins at this site, or ensuring that the site is kept clean and tidy.

The London Borough of Hounslow and Sainsbury’s ask that the public please be patient during the transitional period.

Please note however that this new site will only accept plastic bottles for recycling, and will not be able to accept mixed plastic packaging. The nearest sites for recycling mixed plastic packaging are as follows:

• Homebase, Syon Lane, Chiswick
• Somerfield, Brentford
• Tesco Osterley, Syon Lane
• Tesco Mogden, Mogden Lane
