Hounslow Council have advised residents that works to repair a collapsed sewer in Turnham Green Terrace will overrun.

A spokesman for the Council said: "The original work was to repair a collapsed foul sewer, but on excavating this foul sewer, significant damage to storm water sewer has been identified.

"The storm water sewer must now be repaired before the foul sewer can be repaired and connected.

The contractor has advised us that it could take until the 20 March to complete all of the necessary work."

Due to the location of the works it has been necessary to make Turnham Green Terrace one-way southbound and to divert all northbound traffic. Traffic travelling east along Chiswick High Road will be diverted via: Goldhawk Road and Bath Road. Traffic travelling west along Chiswick High Road will be diverted via Acton Lane, South Parade - diversion plan is attached.
