Emergency repairs to water pipes are expected to cause delays to road users in Chiswick for at least a week, Thames Water has said.

Work began earlier this week to repair a leak to a large 30-inch water main at Gunnersbury Avenue (North Circular), between the Chiswick Roundabout and Larch Road.

The inside lane of Gunnersbury Avenue (North Circular) between Chiswick Roundabout and Larch Drive has been closed to aid the repair. Vehicles are still able exit the M4 at Larch Road and travel up to Hanger Lane.

Work to repair the leak should be completed by 10 December. Water supply to customers is not affected.
