There were substantial traffic delays around Hogarth Roundabout after a burst water main led to flooding on the carriageway. The Hogarth Flyover was closed as a precaution.

Flooding appears to have originated on Burlington Lane (A316) just south of the Hogarth Roundabout.

The water was reportedly at a depth of 30cm at some points and although the A4 at Hogarth Roundabout remained passable traffic flow was restricted leading to tailbacks of over a mile.

Residents in the area have also reported a cessation of water supplies as a result of the burst main.
