Much of Bath Road between Turnham Green Terrace and Stamford Brook Common is under water this Tuesday morning (16 April).

It is believed that workmen from SSE who were relocating an electricity sub-station just outside the Arts Educational shool accidentally hit a water main leading to a burst.

Much of the road is completely submerged but it has not been closed and traffic is progressing in both directions with some delays.

Thames Water have been informed of the problem and their engineers are reportedly on the way to the scene.
