Thames Water will be working at this junction for six weeks starting on 19th January as part of their mains replacement programme.

The first week of works will be in the footway, but after that they will be working in the carriageway. Due to the location of the mains which are to be replaced it will be necessary for traffic to be on the wrong side of the carriageway.

As a result the permanent traffic lights will need to be switched off and the junction will operate under temporary 3-way traffic lights.

Delays are expected on all approaches.

Advance warning signs will be erected prior to the junctions of Chiswick High Road with Turnham Green Terrace and with Chiswick Lane in the hope that some drivers will be able to divert to the north or south and avoid the junction altogether.
