Chiswick Rower Inspires Olympic Hopefuls

Chiswick rower Alan Campbell is currently in training for the London 2012 Olympics. A member of Tideway Scullers Club based on the Thames next to Chiswick Bridge, he has been described as a “real inspiration for the younger members”.

Originally from Coleraine in Co. Antrim, he has lived in west London since 2002 and was an Olympic finalist in 2008. This year he is going for Gold at the London 2012 Games.

The Club says it is very proud of Alan Campbell and wishes him well in representing his country in rowing. It hopes to see some of its members in the next Olympics following on the example of Alan Campbell.
