Sophie, who lives on Chesterfield Road, took to the stage and dazzled her audience with her rendition of ‘Seasons of Love’ by Rent and ‘Stop the Cavalry’ by Jona Lewie with the DLD Vocal Group.

Sophie, 17, who is currently studying for her A-levels in Biology, Music Technology, Music and Physics at DLD College London, serenaded the audience with her soulful voice.

The Marylebone-based College’s annual Winter Concert was held on Tuesday 10 December where students entertained their friends, family, teachers and special guest, Baroness Perry of Southwark.

Director of Music at the college, Peter Hopkins, commented: “The DLD College London Winter Concert is a great way of getting everyone into the festive spirit as the term comes to an end.

“Sophie, along with our other students, has been rehearsing incredibly hard over the past few weeks so it was great to see all their hard work paid off. They should be all very proud of themselves."

Rachel Borland, Principal at DLD College London commented: “There has been plenty of excitement around the college in the lead up to our annual winter production and each year we are amazed by the remarkable talents that our students boast.

“All students who took part delivered outstanding performances, and it was testament to their talents that they were able to put on such a fantastic show.”
