A Chiswick resident is asking for help from people in the area in his effort to recover a much-loved car which was stolen in Bedford Park this Monday (28 December).

The classic red mini (pictured above) was parked on South Parade on Monday evening. There was no sign that entry had been forced to the car and the owner, Andrei Stoica, believes it may have been towed away by the thieves.

He purchased the car in November and had only had the chance to drive it for 600 miles. He had been planning to renovate the car.

He said, 'I have tried the council, police, bus drivers, neighbours. No success, it was simply stolen. I really miss it and hope I will get it back in one piece.'

The police have been informed and are investigating.

If you have any information that could help Andrei locate his car, for instance did you drive along South Parade on Monday evening and notice if the car was still there, then contact him on mail.andreistoica@gmail.com or 0790 405 0599.
