Train services on the Hounslow Loop were seriously disrupted this week due to an electrical fault on a train at Chiswick Station.

All services from Waterloo were halted  at Barnes on Wednesday after the fault was discovered under the train at around 3 p.m. on Wednesday ( February 1 st)

South West Trains advised  passengers to use either Richmond and Twickenham and local bus services to finish their journey.

Engineers sent to Chiswick have been worked throughout the afternoon but they did not managed to move the train away in time for the evening rush-hour.

The stations affected are Barnes Bridge, Chiswick, Kew, Brentford, Syon Lane and Isleworth.
