Sudden High Winds Take Down Tree on Acton Lane

Road closed near to Acton Green Common as removal work proceeds

A tree has fallen across the road on Acton Lane this Saturday (4 May).

The large tree appears to have been brought down by a sudden gusts of winds this afternoon near to Acton Green Common and the 94 bus terminal.

The road was closed and traffic in the area is reported to be heavy.

The police and London Fire Brigade are at the scene.

There are no reports of any injuries.
