Turnham Green tube station was closed this morning (Monday 22nd August) following a serious incident.

British Transport Police say that a male passenger was killed at the station after being hit by an eastbound Piccadilly line train. They are not treating the death as suspicious. They were informed of the incident at 8.21am.

This service does not stop at the station at this time of the day.

The station has reopened but there are delays on the Piccadilly line.

There have been at least seven fatalities at Turnham Green station since 2003 most of which were suicides.
