JACK MONROE: THE BRUNCH

Jack will be in conversation on Sunday the 16th of September at 11am at the Ginger Whisk studio. Tickets are £15.00 each and include brunch and a drink.

Jack Monroe joins forces with the Cookbook Festival chefs to create a generous and utterly fabulous brunch based on recipes from her latest book ‘Cooking on a Bootstrap’; and to add an extra element of excitement to the proceedings all the ingredients will be supplied by the City Harvest who rescue food for the hungry http://www.cityharvest.org.uk/.

The cookery festival team say:"We won’t know exactly what we are getting until Friday, we will be working flat out to chop, cook and create a delicious, nutritious and truly fantastic brunch with a selection of dishes to choose from. On offer will be homemade granola, a selection of savoury dishes and Jack’s fabulous chocolate and banana cake. "

Kick it all off with a Bloody or Virgin Mary and while you are eating Jack Monroe and Paula Merrony from City Harvest will chat about the future of food and how we can all make a difference.

This a relaxed and fun event
