Actress Jenny Seagrove will open the 2013 Chiswick Dog Show this year on Sunday, September 29th at 10.30 in the cricket ground at Chiswick House and Gardens. The star of Judge John Deed and A Woman of Substance will also have a stall for her Mane Chance Horse Sanctuary at the event.

Charlotte Hawkins from Sky's Sunrise programme will judge Best Groomed at 3.00pm

James Dreyfus the actor is judging once again, Richard Osman (Pointless) is compering My Dog's Got Talent, television journalist/writer Rageh Omaar is attending for the first time and judging. JoAnne Good & Anna Webb from BBC London will be interviewing the Chair of the show and also judging, Dima Yeremenko the trainer, actor Kevin Mc Nally and Martin Townsend from the Sunday Express will also be present.

Tim Lovejoy (Sunday Brunch and local sports presenter) and his daughters will be judging Best Young Handler.

As always, there will be plenty of classes for all types of dogs to enter. As well as all the usual favourites including ‘Best Puppy’, ‘Handsomest Dog’, ‘Prettiest Bitch’, ‘My Dog’s Got Talent’, and ‘Fancy Dress’, there will be two new classes for ‘Naughtiest Dog’, and ‘Best Groomed’.

The fun show has many novelty classes, and has become a major part of Chiswick’s social calendar.
