CHISWICK "WORST IN THE WORLD" FOR MAIL LOSSES

epidemic of missing packages continues but there's no problem according to Consignia

The Chiswick "Bermuda Triangle" does not exist despite a company claiming that our local post office is the worst in the world for missing packages.

On-line retailer CDWow! says they have been reporting problems to Consignia for the last 10 months with no response. According to their customer service manager, Tammy Stewart, after switching to recorded delivery for Chiswick, they have now decided not to deliver to this area. Of all the places in the world that the company delivers to, they say Chiswick is the worst for mail losses.

Scores of people have reported problems through the discussion forum with many now having switched to alternative addresses as a result. Packages from companies like Amazon regularly go missing.

Hold tight to that package!

The police have also been criticised for failing to investigate missing items from the post with any complaints generally referred back to Consignia.

Consignia have since apologised to CDWow! but claimed they were not aware of any delivery problems in the Chiswick area. One local person has contacted CDWow! to request details of correspondence that they have had with Consignia in order to challenge their statement that they have no knowledge of the problem.
