Connelly - "Spending more time
with his golf clubs" |
Cllr
Connelly is also retiring from his post as
an economics lecturer at Thames Valley University
and is planning to devote more of his time
to his ward and his golf.
Cllr.
Connelly had been subject to a no confidence
vote last year. The motion was proposed by
Cllr Ellar and failed by just one vote. Cllr
Connelly had been supported by Chiswick based
Labour Councillors such as Pat Sterne and David
Hopkins but neither of them stood in the recent
election.
The
membership of Hounslow's new Cabinet or Executive
- is: Ruth Cadbury, Amint Mann, Jaddish Sharma,
Gurmail Lal, Permod Kad, Ilyas Khwaja, Darshan
Grewal, Bobbie Wasan and John Chatt. Portfolio
responsibilities are yet to be decided.
