In support of graffiti awareness week, which ran from 19th to 25th April, The Chiswick Town Centre Stakeholder Group organised a clean up day on the 21st April.

Graffiti was cleared from several Chiswick properties. The scheme complemented action across several other Boroughs in the South West of London.

Graffiti removing fluid was also provided to many householders who wished to clean up their own properties. PC Phillips, Crime Prevention Officer at Chiswick Police Station said

“Whilst we had to be fairly modest in our aims due to financial constraints, we are pleased with the overall result and were particularly pleased with the requests from those residents who wished to clean their own properties. Although the Awareness Week has now finished, we still have a stock of graffiti removing liquids and gels which we are happy to provide free of charge to any resident who would like them.”

If you would like materials to help remove graffiti from your property please contact the Crime Prevention Officer on 020 8247 6424 or by e-mail to: Anthony.Phillips@met.police.uk.
