Bach’s St Matthew Passion Study Day is being held from 10:00am – 4:00pm on Saturday 28th January at St Anne's Church on Kew Green.

The day is devoted to the St Matthew Passion, one of the greatest sacred works of all. Learn about the Passions's spiritual setting from Rev Nigel Worn, discover more about Bach's musical approach, sing chorales, and listen to an open rehearsal of some of the score's greatest moments. Admission is £20, via Marie Crockford on 020 8332 7156 or at stannekew@btinternet.com.

Bach’s St Matthew Passion is being performed at 7:30pm on Sunday 5th February at St Michael and All Angels, Bath Road, W4 1TT (Turnham Green tube).

With a complete cycle of JS Bach's surviving sacred cantatas under their belts, Sandy and the West London Bach Consort and Players turn their attention to the great St Matthew Passion. For this performance they are joined by a superb team of soloists, including Richard Edgar-Wilson (Evangelist) and Lawrence Wallingford (Jesus). Admission is free, with a retiring collection in aid of the Upper Room charity: www.theupperroom.org.uk.
