West London Bach is back at St Michael and All Angels on Sunday 9th June with two cantatas in the opening concert of the Bedford Park Festival, in aid of the festival charities.

They are performings Cantata for Pentecost No. 34: O Ewiges Feuer (O Fire Everlasting) for soloists, chorus and orchestra; and Cantata No 51: Jauchzet Gott In Allen Landen (Praise God In Every Land) for solo trumpet, soprano and orchestra - with Alison Smart (soprano), Caroline Jones (mezzo soprano) and Jim Wills (bass) – directed by Giles Ridley.

The remainder of the programme will consist of works by Charles Villiers Stanford – the familiar and the less familiar.

7pm for 7.30pm at St Michael and All Angels Church in Chiswick. Admission is free but there will be a retiring collection.
