The Chiswick School Parent Teachers Association and Car Boot Sale Volunteers have announced that it is planned to resume their monthly event in July.

After more than a year’s absence the popular event opens again on Sunday 4 July assuming no change in coronavirus regulations.

The organisers are anticipating a busy market with lots of sellers likely to attend items accumulated over lockdown.

Guidelines would have allowed the market to start earlier but, given the size of the event, it was decided to wait until July. July. The wearing of facemasks will be encouraged and sanitising stations will be available on site during the sale for your use.

A statement from the organisers said, “We are very excited about welcoming back our regular sellers and buyers and seeing some new faces too. The event will take place on the school grounds as before, with pitch fees being the same price, depending on the size of your vehicle. Walk-in sellers are also very welcome. Pitches will be granted on a first come, first served basis.”

All money raised from the entrance fees goes to Chiswick School PTA, which has been instrumental in supporting many students and families in the school community during the last year.

This site remains committed to providing local community news and public interest journalism.

Articles such as the one above are integral to what we do. We aim to feature as much as possible on local societies, charities based in the area, fundraising efforts by residents, community-based initiatives and even helping people find missing pets.
