The Hogarth Singers carol concert will take place on Saturday, December 17th, 6pm. Once again the choir will be linking up with Belmont School to provide a show that combines the traditional with the unusual. Highlights include The Badger Carol, a charming composition by the choir director Jonathan Wikeley, the traditional Cornish Sans Day Carol, arranged by John Rutter and the Spanish Riu Riu Chiu – a real hum-along number which – for older listeners – was also performed by The Monkees!

Traditional carols include Once in Royal David’s City, Silent Night and Oh, Come all Ye Faithful. The audience will be invited to join in. So do come ye all to St Michael and All Angels, Bath Road, Chiswick. Tickets only £7 from: 020 7261 9565 / boxoffice@rosetheatre.org.uk www.wegottickets.com/event/141587 or on the door.

St Nicholas Church, Church Street (also known as St Nick's by the Brewery) has its service of nine lessons and carols at 6.00 on Sunday, December 18th, preceded by carols played on handbells from 5.40.

The Grove Park Christmas Concert will be held on Sunday, December 18th at St. Paul’s Church, 56 Grove Park Road.  This year’s concert is titled “Dear Santa...” and will feature a series of songs and letters that tell the tale of how we communicate with father Christmas.  Three choirs will be featuring in the concert with the St. Paul’s Choir, the Grove Park Childrens’ Choir and Mad About Gospel. Doors open at 6pm for mulled wine, minced pies and other refreshments and the concert itself will commence at 6.30pm and end at 8.30pm with a short interval. All are invited to attend and tickets are £5 for adults while children are free, and tickets can be purchased by calling 0845 272 3501.

Carols by Candlelight takes place at Chiswick Christian Centre on Fraser Street on Sunday 18th December at 6.30pm. Enjoy Christmas carols, children's play and hot mince pies.
