Chiswick is set to go retro chic crazy as Cancer Research UK opens the first of its outlets dedicated to specialist vintage, retro and alternative looks.

The shop opposite Turnham Green has been known as a cult destination for vintage enthusiasts for close to a decade. Now, it has been completely refurbished with retro décor, funky mirrors and new fittings and a fresh approach to all that is quirky and original in second-hand.

Shop Manager Paula Ainsworth told The Telegraph, "We've been a vintage, retro and alternative specialist shop for years, but due to our location and the fact there is another Cancer Research UK shop on the High Road, people often don't realise we're here!

"We really will give Portobello Road a run for its money when it comes to those one-off finds – and all proceeds will fund vital cancer research.”
