‘Chiswick at the time of the Devonshire Dukes’: Senior Historian at English Heritage, Richard Hewlings presents a splendid illustrated account of this fascinating period when the 5th Duke of Devonshire added great wings to the House and the 6th Duke demolished the mansion next door and created the Italian Garden.
