London in Bloom provides regional awards and forms part of the Royal Horticultural Society Britain in Bloom campaign. Formed in 1967, over 300 parks, gardens and communities have been judged this summer across London. London in Bloom's annual awards celebrate the efforts of communities, parks and individuals who do so much to make London a special place to live, work and visit.

The 65-acre Grade I listed Estate is maintained by a small team comprising of the Garden Estate Manager, Community Gardener, Gardener, an Assistant Gardener and Gardens Ranger who work with over 50 volunteers to garden the walled garden, formal gardens and conservation works throughout.

Two members of the team at CHG also received Horticultural Achievement Awards - William Rallison, Kitchen Gardener at the Trust, and Jaimie Cook from Gavin Jones Ltd.

Geraldine King CHGT Garden Estate Manager comments; “I am absolutely over the moon that the hard work of the Trust team, Gavin Jones and our volunteers has been recognised through the Awards we have received today. The results reflect the care, commitment and dedication that they have all given in maintaining and advancing this Grade I listed Estate and I am very proud to be part of this team.”
