Tuesday January 25th, 7.30pm - The Archaeology of the Thames Foreshore at Strand on the Green and Kew, a talk by Thames Discovery at Chiswick Pier House, W4 2UG.

The Chiswick Pier Trust warmly invites you to come and learn more about the archaeology of the Thames foreshore, including the latest findings at Strand on the Green and Kew.

Eliot Wragg, from the Thames Discovery Programme, has the very latest news from their work this December right here in Chiswick.

The Thames Discovery Programme (www.thamesdiscovery.org) is a three-year project that aims to engage Londoners with the archaeology that can be found on the inter-tidal area of the River Thames.

Go along and see what they have discovered on our very own stretch of the river and get a unique insight into what life must have been like here in ancient times.

Doors open at 7pm and the event will start at 7.30pm. Free to Chiswick Pier Trust Members, £3 to non-members
