A fun packed day both on and off the river will be launched by the new Mayor of Hounslow when she arrives aboard the Harbour Masters’ launch at 12.00 on Sunday 18th June 2006.

Visitors have the opportunity to try a canoe taster session with Chiswick Canoe Club or just watch them do their playboat displays.

Down at Chiswick Eyot from 3.00–4.00 children can do some river dipping with Thames Explorer Trust (please bring your wellies or old shoes!).

Why not enjoy a short boat trip aboard London Belle (there is covered seating just in case the weather is changeable!), browse round the stalls in the Pier House and sample the spit roast/BBQ, Fullers bar, refreshments and ice creams?

There will be childrens’ activities including a large bouncy jungle slide and Fire Dart will be on the river doing their display and live music playing during the day.
